SO I'm updating

Hola all.  I'm not sure if anybody still reads this but I'm up on Sunday morning so I figure I'd update it.  I am currently still a vocal music teacher at Oakville Middle School and enjoying the challenges that teaching brings. I finished the Master's over the summer so I no longer have to take any classes, which is nice, and am looking for some places to sing, anybody got any suggestions? Kind of taking it easy at the moment and chillin around the lou so there really isn't much more to say.  Hope all is well in your worlds.  Pat

searching

I know it's been a while since I blogged but alot has been goin on. It's crazy when you go searching for something and then finally find it and then its all taken away from you. Several things in my life have resulted from this exact situation lately and it's driving me slightly insane. Went looking for a job, found it and now it's taken away from me. Now I'm searching once again for a job. Went searching for a calling, found it and it was taken away from me. Now I'm searching for a new calling or maybe a different place to answer the same call. I'm back to searching. Funny when we think we have so much control over our life, and ultimately we do, but several influence can push so strongly one way or another and can make life difficult or easy depending on the force and the control seems remote at best. I hope all of you search and seek what you need, please hope that I can find it as well.  Until then I'll search and seek what I need to find.

Well this week was better than the last blog thats fo sho. Monday was good pretty uneventful but 24 was good which is nice. Tuesday was the last day for MAP testing at school so it was nice to get that over with and get back to a normal schedule. Wed at school was long cause I couldn't wait to get to the ball game. The Cards rocked out on Wed night and I got to go down to BP before the game and watch em hit, it was sweet.  Even got a ball and a signature from Scott Spezio.  Kids did well w/ the 7th inning stretch and singin take me out....   Thurs was a slow start, it didn't start well but ended real well.  Had the faculty vs 8th grade Bball game and we schooled em.  Thats right we took it to em, and we kinda laid back towards the end to make em feel better.  Then went to Josh (the drummer from St. Joe's) senior recital at Webster and it was freakin awesome. He tore it up on the drums while Nick kicked but at the piano and Gavin on the bass and 2 other people rocked on the sax n trumpet.  It was great Jazz played w/ full emotion and heart.  Very impressive. Hung out w/ Josh afterwards and had a good time.  Good day.  Neway thats the end of the blog post, hope all is well w/ you.  Pat

silly izzy

I know its early in the season but opening up Busch w/ a 3 game skid is not so good.  I never claim to have all the right ideas but Izzy, in the 8th, it's way to early for that in the season.  oh well can't win em all, just kinda sucks that it was the cubs.  stupid cubs. so yeah ever get that feeling that nobody really wants you? been gettin that one lately.  now its probably not true but it sure feels like it as of late. no contract renewal, no life teen core, no 5 o clock mass singing, no dates and no phone calls this entire weekend.  i think its safe to say that im not in the greatest of moods but hopefully ill pull out soon. go cards, please win tommorow. catch everyone l8r.  Pat
